Housing after Study Abroad

Students abroad in the fall semester are notified via email in late fall that applications for campus housing for the spring will be online in the Residence Housing System in December with a January deadline.

After the deadline, the Office of Residential Life assesses the number of vacancies in the various houses versus the demand. If there is more demand by returners to a particular house than actual vacancies, those who will be allowed to return will be chosen at random. The vast majority of students returning in the spring are placed in their first choice, although placement is ultimately decided by supply and demand.
